Instagram’s Deciet

“Instagram does not claim ownership of any Content that you post on or through the Service. Instead, you hereby grant to Instagram a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use the Content that you post on or through the Service, subject to the Service’s Privacy Policy, available here, including but not limited to sections 3 (“Sharing of Your Information”), 4 (“How We Store Your Information”), and 5 (“Your Choices About Your Information”). You can choose who can view your Content and activities, including your photos, as described in the Privacy Policy.”
This is what it says in the new terms and condition for Instagram, which states that Instagram has the right to use the content uploaded by it’s users any way they see fit. However it doesn’t say that it is enforcing this by Instagram by itself approaching you and taking you’re content without any permission, but when you use Instagrams services, you handover the rights to them in regards to the contents uploaded on Instagram, this new policy is coming to effect on January 19, 2013.
Now, as this policy has been publicized, the number of people using instagram has dropped by 10 million in February 2013, in contrast to September 2012 shown in and . Also, another website states that the number of users of Instagram has dropped by 25% but on the same post it also states that facebook has stated that the number of people using instagram has risen and not dropped and this statistics in false.
